On Saturday, 30th of August 2026, members of AHOY Flagship took to the banks of the iconic River Thames in London, United Kingdom, for a purposeful River Cleanup exercise in partnership with the River Cleanup Charity Organisation.

As part of our commitment to Service to Community and Humanity, we joined other passionate environmental volunteers to tackle plastic pollution, litter and debris threatening the health of the Thames and its ecosystem.

The River Cleanup Charity Organisation provided all the necessary equipment – including gloves, pickers, safety jackets, and waste bags – ensuring a safe, organized, and impactful cleanup operation. Our team worked along the riverbank, collecting waste and sorting recyclables, contributing to the global mission to keep our rivers and oceans clean.
It was more than just a cleanup. It was a fun, fulfilling, and eye-opening experience. The joy of working together as a team, the conversations with fellow volunteers, and the visible difference we made on the shoreline gave us a deep sense of satisfaction. Knowing that our small actions were helping to keep our environment clean and protect marine life reminded us that real change starts with us.
At AHOY, we believe community service is not just an act – it is a responsibility. This River Thames cleanup reaffirmed our dedication to environmental sustainability and building a cleaner, healthier society for all.

We sincerely appreciate the River Cleanup Charity Organisation for this opportunity and for leading such an impactful initiative.
Together, we are making a difference – one river at a time.
