Today, on the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, we at the Association of Humble and Obedient Youths pause to reflect, celebrate, and recommit ourselves to a vision where every voice is heard — especially those who lead from the margins.
We believe that true leadership isn’t measured by ability alone, but by resilience, insight, and the courage to break barriers others may not even see. Persons with disabilities bring invaluable perspectives to our communities, organizations, and decision-making tables. Their lived experiences aren’t just stories — they are blueprints for building more accessible, empathetic, and sustainable futures.
